01

CONTROL

CONTROL IS PART OF THE ARCHITECTURE.

Authority, approval and record-keeping are structural stages of HERCLIS — not settings layered on afterwards. An agent cannot acquire authority it was not given.

02

CONTROL ARCHITECTURE

SIX BOUNDARIES.

01

Controlled Agent Permissions

Each agent operates inside an explicitly defined scope of authority.

02

Human Approval Boundaries

Defined decisions route to a person before any action is taken.

03

Role-Based Access

What a person or an agent can see and do is determined by role.

04

Operational Logging

Actions, decisions and escalations are recorded as they occur.

05

Data Isolation

Each organization’s operational data is kept separate.

06

Auditability

Recorded activity can be reviewed after the fact.

03

HUMAN APPROVAL

A PERSON DECIDES WHERE A PERSON SHOULD DECIDE.

Approval is a stage in the sequence, not an override bolted on top. When work reaches a decision that requires judgment, authorization or accountability, the agent stops and routes it to the person who holds that authority. Execution resumes only after the decision is made.

This page describes architectural control boundaries within HERCLIS. It does not claim SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR or any other certification or regulatory compliance status. Where HERCLIS is deployed into a regulated environment, applicable obligations are assessed with the organization.

HERCLIS uses automated and AI-based systems to coordinate and carry out work within limits each customer configures. Customers define those limits and remain responsible for reviewing automated actions in any workflow requiring human judgment, authorization or professional responsibility.

04

DECISION BOUNDARY

WHERE EXECUTION STOPS.

An authorization boundary is a state the system enters, not a notification it sends. Execution halts until the decision is recorded.
